Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Forwarder.

The Freight

Forwarder will coordinate the movement of freight shipments, including planning routes, arranging carriers, and managing documentation for domestic and export activities. Daily responsibilities include communicating with customers, carriers, and partners to confirm bookings, schedules, rates, and service requirements. The role involves monitoring shipments, resolving delays or issues,



and ensuring compliance with relevant transportation and export regulations.

The Freight

Forwarder will also provide responsive customer service, maintain accurate records, and work closely with internal teams to support efficient freight transportation operations.

Qualifications

- Strong Freight Forwarding and Forwarding skills, including planning and coordinating shipments.
- Knowledge of Freight Transportation operations and best practices.
- Understanding of Export processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments at once.
- Proficiency with logistics or transportation management software and basic office applications.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation; additional industry certifications are a plus.
