Freelance Field Data Verification Specialist (POI) – Mexico City

Job Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented and autonomous Freelance Field Data Verification Specialists to support a Point of Interest (POI) data collection project. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for visiting designated physical locations, primarily catering venues, to verify their operational status and collect specific geographic data.

This role requires reliability, attention to detail, confidence navigating within your assigned area, and strict adherence to data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Use mobile navigation to locate assigned Point of Interest (POI) locations within your designated geographic area.
- Utilize the company's data collection application to verify on-site information.
- Record brief in-store videos and capture storefront footage to confirm the operational status of each location.
- Conduct automated Wi-Fi scans using the provided application to verify network presence.
- Ensure all submitted media complies with project quality standards and accurately confirms your presence at the assigned location.
- Complete the assigned daily route while following all project procedures.

Technical & Hardware Requirements To perform this project, contractors must use their own compatible Android device.
- Android smartphone required (iOS devices are not supported).
- Minimum 8 GB RAM.
- Android 7.0 or higher.
- Devices running the specific Android 9.0 operating system are not compatible with the project's application.




- Reliable mobile data connection.
- Sufficient battery capacity for daily field work.

Compensation & Engagement
- This opportunity is offered as a Freelance Independent Contractor engagement.
- Contractors receive USD $25 per worked day in Mexico City.
- The daily payment applies upon successful completion and approval of the assigned daily workload of 20 Point of Interest (POI) verifications in accordance with project quality standards.
- The project is expected to require a minimum commitment of 20 worked days, subject to operational needs and satisfactory performance.
- There is no commission-based compensation. Payment is based on the fixed daily rate for approved work completed.

Training
- All selected contractors receive free mandatory onboarding and project training before beginning field assignments.
- Training covers the use of the mobile application, data collection procedures, quality standards, and project expectations.
- There are no charges for training or onboarding.

Costs
- There are no registration fees, membership fees, application fees, or entry fees to participate in this project.
- WebOps provides access to the required software, training materials, and project documentation free of charge.
- Contractors are expected to provide their own compatible Android smartphone and cover their own transportation and mobile data expenses while completing field assignments.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $344.00 - $430.00 per day
