Role: Linux & Storage Automation Engineer
Location: Remote, Mexico only
Duration: 6+month engagement

Job Overview
We are seeking a Linux & Storage Automation Engineer with strong experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, Ansible automation, storage operations, and infrastructure automation. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining repeatable automation workflows that support server build-outs, configuration management, patching, remediation, storage administration, and operational efficiency within production environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Ansible roles, playbooks, and job templates using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform to automate server provisioning, configuration, patching, remediation, and maintenance activities.
- Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, including package and repository management, systemd services, kernel and boot issues, and operating system health.
- Develop Bash scripts and automation workflows to streamline Linux administration,



storage operations, and production support tasks.
- Support storage and filesystem administration activities, including disk issue remediation, capacity management, filesystem configuration, and routine health checks.
- Build automation that supports cloud-hosted server lifecycle activities, including starting, stopping, and managing AWS or Azure resources as part of patching and maintenance workflows.
- Apply CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code principles to manage infrastructure and configuration through version-controlled code and automated delivery pipelines.
- Develop repeatable and validated workflows that support database integration, data migration, and identity and access management requirements.
- Integrate automation solutions with existing operational tooling, monitoring platforms, scheduling systems, security controls, and change management processes.
