At POSCO International Mexico E-Mobility, we are seeking a Foreign Trade Assistant to join our team and provide support for import and export operations, document control, and foreign trade process compliance within the automotive industry.

We are looking for a junior-level candidate with a foundation in foreign trade who is organized and interested in gaining experience in an international manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the tariff classification of materials and products.
- Update and maintain HS Code databases and Master Lists.
- Support the preparation, review, and control of import and export documentation.
- Track and organize foreign trade files, including customs declarations (pedimentos), COVEs, and related documentation.
- Assist in reviewing and tracking customs declarations and customs operations.
- Support foreign trade inventory control (Annex 24).
- Coordinate information and documentation with the various departments involved in import/export operations.
- Keep department records and internal controls up to date.

Requirements





- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, International Business, Administration, or a related field.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Microsoft Excel skills.
- Adaptable schedule availability.
- Interest in professional development in Foreign Trade within the automotive/manufacturing industry.

Knowledge

- Import and export concepts.
- Reading and interpretation of customs declarations (pedimentos).
- Tariff classification / HS Codes.
- Knowledge of Annex 24.
- Handling and control of foreign trade documentation.

Profile We Are Looking For A proactive, responsible, and organized individual with attention to detail, analytical skills, and a sense of urgency. We are looking for someone willing to learn and grow within the department; while prior experience is desirable, we will also consider recent graduates with solid knowledge of Foreign Trade.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15,000.00 per month
