General Controller | Manufacturing | IMMEXA leading manufacturing company is looking for a General Controller to lead the financial, accounting, tax, and cost-control activities for its operations in Tamaulipas.Location: González, TamaulipasWork Model: On-siteSalary: $60,000 MXN gross monthly (flexible depending on experience)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMRelocation to Tamaulipas is required.As an additional benefit, the company offers optional on-site accommodation from Monday to Friday for employees who prefer to stay near the plant during the week rather than commute daily from another city.Key ResponsibilitiesLead accounting and financial operations for the manufacturing plants.Manage and analyze manufacturing costs and production costs.Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Analyze presente vs. budget/forecast results and identify variances.Oversee inventory controls, warehouse audits, and internal controls.Ensure tax compliance, including VAT and SAT requirements.Coordinate internal and external audits.Oversee accounting processes and financial reporting.Manage IMMEX and foreign trade-related operations.Lead, develop,



and manage the finance/accounting team.Prepare financial information and reports for both Mexico and U.S. leadership.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Public Accounting / Accounting.Proven experience as a Controller, General Controller, or Finance Manager within a manufacturing environment.Strong experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting / Cost Controlling.Experience with IMMEX and foreign trade operations.Strong knowledge of Mexican tax matters, VAT, SAT, and audits.Experience managing and developing teams.Conversational English is required, with the ability to actively participate in meetings and maintain professional conversations with U.S. leadership.Availability to relocate to Tamaulipas and work on-site.Benefits20 days Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo).25% vacation premium.Vacation days according to Mexican labor law.Subsidized cafeteria.Optional accommodation on company premises, Monday through Friday.If you have a strong combination of Controllership + Manufacturing + Cost Accounting + Tax + IMMEX experience, we would like to hear from you.
