About the RoleWe are looking for a PO Follow-Up Analyst to join our Procurement Shared Services (PSS) team.
This is a newly created role that plays a key part in ensuring accurate purchase order status, supplier follow-up, and seamless communication between internal teams and external partners across the region.This position supports the Regional Front Office and local PSS, contributing to a highly centralized and efficient procurement operating model.Key ResponsibilitiesPO Follow-Up & ConfirmationMonitor PO status through Supplier Portal reports, including past-due deliveries and supplier confirmationsReview PO status with buyers and internal stakeholders when requiredContact suppliers to obtain updates and expedite deliveriesEnsure the Supplier Portal is accurate, complete, and up to dateCommunicate PO status clearly to all relevant stakeholdersGeneral ActivitiesManage requests via Ticketing Tools, coordinating with requestors, buyers, and suppliersHandle Credit Hold issues, PTE, Obsolete Materials, and Resource processesBusiness ContextThis role supports the transformation of the Procurement function toward a more centralized regional model.
The PO Follow-Up Specialist is critical in maintaining high service levels, operational efficiency,
and stakeholder satisfaction while managing Maintenance and Safety Supplies purchase orders.Scope of the RoleFollow-up of material purchase orders (Maintenance & Safety Supplies)Monitoring PO status, deliveries, and supplier confirmationsActing as the main point of contact between internal users, Procurement teams, and suppliersKey StakeholdersSourcing TeamsCategory ManagersSuppliersPTP TeamsABI Facilities & StoreroomsQualifications & SkillsRequiredUniversity degree or equivalent (Administration or similar)1-2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or PO Management rolesStrong understanding of sourcing tools (SAP)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate data into business-impact insightsAdvanced conversational English is mandatory (daily interaction with regional and global stakeholders)Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly, request inputs, and engage in open, candid conversationsStrong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.RequerimientosEducación mínima: Educación superior - Licenciatura1 año de experienciaIdiomas: InglésConocimientos: Microsoft excel, Microsoft officePalabras fundamental: analista, analyst#J-*****-Ljbffr
