Plant NurseLocation: On site - Juarez, Nuevo Leon
BASIC FUNCTIONProvidesprofessional nursing care to associates as individual situations arise, inaccordance with Mexican law. Educates associates on health promotion andmaintenance. Assists physicians with necessary procedures. Coordinateseffectively with other shifts to ensure continuity of care, maintains positiverelationships with other departments, and participates in all phases ofeducation, record-keeping, and the updating of policies and procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Meets medical service objectives applicable to the position.
- 2. Administers professional nursing care to associates based on individualsituations and in compliance with Mexican regulations. Maintains a record ofall activities.
- 3. Provides an appropriate emergency response to injuries occurring within thefacility.
- 4. Provides health education to associates through periodic coverage of healthtopics.
- 5. Skillfully and correctly administers medications prescribed by physicians.
- 6. Keeps the Supervisor informed regarding patients, needs,



and issues withinthe medical service.
- 7. Participates in staff orientation, training, and management for newemployees; provides training for emergency medical technicians, Basic LifeSupport classes, and optimal health care advice.
- 8. Maintains an inventory of medications and supplies; sterilizes equipment andsupplies as needed.
- 9. Offers care-related guidance, identifies problems, and directs staff towardsolutions.
- 10. Evaluates the work environment to identify potential or presente healthissues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:Registered Nurse with a current license to practice nursing in Mexico.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health.
TRAINING: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software applications preferred.
