Meztal is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our team in a mid-level capacity. This position is responsible for supporting and executing full-cycle accounting activities while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring accounting processes are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, approximately four or more years of relevant professional accounting experience after graduation, hands-on full-cycle accounting experience, and the ability to work effectively with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders in an English-speaking business environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage and execute full-cycle accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and complete necessary adjustments
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting




- Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, accounting records, and financial documentation
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial reports and related accounting information
- Review accounting transactions for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain appropriate supporting documentation
- Collaborate effectively with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders regarding accounting activities, requests, and deliverables
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records while following established accounting procedures and internal controls
- Support additional accounting and financial reporting activities as required by the position

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (Contaduría Pública) is required
- Professional degree certificate (Título Profesional) is required
- Valid Cédula Cualificado is required
