The Role
Collaborate with North America and Latin America colleagues across a variety of actuarial and analytical projects:
Assisting with reserving calculations for life and non-life products
Supporting statistical research and data analysis, including collecting and cleaning data, performing exploratory data analysis.
Helping identifying trends and patterns under the guidance of senior team members
Contributing to the development of analytics and market strategies through data preparation, and research
Learning about product development and pricing techniques using different software tools
Support life insurance financial modeling, including running actuarial models, updating input data and assumptions, testing models, and reviewing results
Assisting in the preparation of recurrent regulatory reports (Statutory, US GAAP, IFRS and SII) including data preparation, validation,
and documentation
The Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
1 year of experience working in Insurance Companies or Data Consulting firms (desirable but not requisite)
Strong written and verbal English skills and a demonstrated ability to interact
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Intermediate-level programming skills in tools such as SQL, VBA, R, Python
Well organized, committed to quality, proactive and eager to learn, showing resilience
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and communicate information
