Description
- Technical contact for GMM Door programs.
- During design/development phase, work with Inteva team to create and manage design/engineering open issue list, by part, to support closure of build and/or manufacturability concerns.
- Participate in internal and external build events and meetings: provide feedback for product and/or process improvements.
- Support part fabrication activities as needed; root cause and debug activities for door panels at Inteva Operations and Customer locations.
- Support business pursuit activities as needed with technical input.
- Participate in PDT Formal Design Reviews.
- Work effectively in a team environment with a cross-functional team: design, tooling, CAE, quality, manufacturing, finance, purchasing, sales.
- Generate RFQ’s as needed to supply base.
- Support internal PDT meetings and “design issue resolution” utilizing engineering tools.
- Potentially be responsible for component part product engineering deliverables: including eBOM updates and issuance of Change Requests.
- Assess impact of engineering changes on the product and provide feedback to the PDT.
- Participate in warranty improvement activities.

Position Requirements
- Vehicle Interior Engineering experience: Minimum of 5+ experience in the area of Product Engineering with Interior Trim.
- English advanced
