About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Debug & Failure Analysis Engineer
based in Mexico to support US-based enterprise data center infrastructure. In this role, you will perform remote hardware troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and component-level failure isolation across high-density servers, Linux environments, and GPU acceleration platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform remote hardware debugging, failure analysis (FA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on enterprise data center hardware (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, SuperMicro).
- Utilize Out-of-Band (OOB) management interfaces (
iDRAC, iLO, BMC, Redfish, IPMI
) to isolate hardware faults at distance.
- Analyze system, kernel, and hardware logs via
Linux CLI
(dmesg, SEL logs, MCE/kernel panics, lspci) to isolate physical failures.
- Diagnose faults across server sub-assemblies, including Motherboards, System Memory (DRAM), PCIe expansion devices,
storage (NVMe/SAS), and power delivery systems.
- Validate and troubleshoot server platforms equipped with
NVIDIA / AMD GPU accelerators
and high-speed interconnects.
- Write basic Shell or Python scripts for log parsing and diagnostic automation.
- Document failure modes, generate technical incident reports, and collaborate with field technicians for physical Break-Fix execution.
Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)
- Technical Experience:
3+ years in hardware debugging, failure analysis, or L2/L3 hardware support in Enterprise Server or Manufacturing Test environments (e.g., Flex, Foxconn, IBM, Dell, HPE).
- OOB Management:
Advanced proficiency with
iDRAC, iLO, Redfish, BMC, or IPMI

- OS & Scripting:
Strong hands-on experience using
Linux CLI
for low-level system diagnostic commands, log analysis, and basic
Python/Shell scripting
for log parsing.
- GPU & Accelerator Platforms:
