Project Engineer – Electrical Construction

An international company supporting commercial electrical construction projects in California is looking for an experienced and highly proactive Project Engineer to join its project team in Hermosillo, Sonora.

This opportunity is designed for a construction professional with strong experience managing or supporting electrical construction projects, coordinating project documentation, reviewing drawings and specifications, tracking schedules and costs, and working closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

The adecuado candidate understands how an electrical construction project moves from preconstruction and procurement through field execution and closeout, and is comfortable taking ownership of key project responsibilities with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support commercial electrical construction projects in California from preconstruction through project completion and closeout.
- Manage and track key construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs,



change orders, project logs, reports, and closeout documentation.
- Review electrical construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate execution and coordination.
- Maintain project schedules and follow up on critical activities, pending items, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, purchasing activities, and material requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate procurement activities with vendors and suppliers to help ensure materials and equipment arrive according to project schedules.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, field personnel, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in project execution.
- Support estimating activities, quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and scope reviews when needed.
