The Information Technology Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic development of IT infrastructure and systems at Jabil, Inc. This role involves leading a team, managing projects, and ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT services to support business objectives.
Responsibilities:**
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Manage the implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of Jabil's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud environments.
- Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, system integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Monitor system performance,
troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing expenditures while ensuring necessary resources are available.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure timely and effective technical support to end-users.
Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience with IT infrastructure management (servers, networking, cloud platforms like Azure/AWS).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools.
