Job Summary

We are seeking a
Lead Software Engineer – Digital Accessibility
with strong enterprise experience in accessibility engineering, testing, and compliance across Web, iOS, and Android platforms.

The idóneo candidate will have deep expertise in
WCAG 2.2, WAI-ARIA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, accessibility testing tools, assistive technologies, and accessible design/development practices
.

This role will work closely with Product, Design, Development, QA, Architecture, and Program teams to integrate accessibility throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital accessibility engineering and compliance activities across enterprise applications.
- Review
Figma designs
and identify accessibility issues and remediation requirements.
- Provide accessibility requirements, component guidance, and code examples to development teams.
- Perform accessibility testing across
Web, iOS,



and Android
applications.
- Conduct testing using
Axe, Lighthouse, Evinced, AMP
, and other accessibility tools.
- Perform manual testing using
JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Narrator, ZoomText
, and other assistive technologies.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track accessibility defects using
Jira
.
- Provide detailed technical remediation guidance to developers.
- Partner with Design and Architecture teams to develop accessible components and design patterns.
- Support accessibility compliance for new and existing applications.
- Promote
shift-left accessibility
practices across the SDLC.
- Evaluate accessibility risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Program, Design, QA, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
- Support regulatory and compliance testing against
WCAG 2.2 A & AA
, AAA guidelines, EAA, ACA, and other applicable standards.
- Develop accessibility best practices,
