Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a service or manufactured material, component or product. Responsibilities

- Generates, implements, and updates the process control plan, establishing the tests and inspections to be carried out in all processes and products, including adjustment and functional tests for product validation during the manufacturing process, including the launch of new products.
- Generates, distributes, and communicates work instructions, inspection sheets, visual aids, and other quality documentation that show operators how to maintain quality in their operations.
- Responsible for managing customer complaints (CQAs, IQIs).
- Generates corrective and preventive actions based on quality indicators.
- Leads problem-solving activities for complaints or internal and external deviations.
- Analyzes quality failures (such as failure rates, waste, rework, etc.) and measures process quality through performance.




- Responsible for conducting appropriate failure analysis on suspect parts returned by customers through warranties.
- Implements quality poka-yokes to reduce defect risks and ensure critical quality points within manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for implementing and evaluating processes and finished products through the development of audit plans and monitoring quality levels (process audit plan and product audits).
- Ensures compliance with the Non-Conforming Product process for supplier materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
- Performs functional, destructive, and life tests to determine product functionality and control its quality.
- Analyzes calibration/verification results of testing and measurement equipment
- Supports the calibration quality technician in case of discrepancies in verification/calibration results.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry: A3 quality circles, 8Ds, 5 Whys, PDCA to document root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action plans.
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
