what you’ll be doing

- develop and maintain detailed internal customer profiles in cargowise, ensuring all departments have accurate and comprehensive customer information.
- provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers, assisting them in selecting the most appropriate freight and logistics solutions, including preparing quotations as required.
- coordinate shipment bookings and validate ocean/air freight from origin to destination, ensuring timely updates and tracking information are communicated to customers.
- serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering exceptional customer service and managing special requests to build strong client relationships.
- manage daily communications related to assigned accounts, directing customer concerns to the appropriate departments when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
- send new shipment bookings to customers.
- validate and confirm all ocean/air shipment bookings from origin to destination, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- trace empty containers and ensure their timely return or apply per diem billing when necessary.
- follow all standard operating procedures (sops) with strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

who you are





- you have a bachelor’s degree in international business or equivalent experience.
- around one year of experience in an administrative/clerical type role.
- you possess knowledge of microsoft office including word and excel.
- your strengths are prioritizing, working in a fast‑paced environment, you’re customer‑oriented and have a good sense of urgency.
- advanced english level is a must.

work schedule

- gdl office 7:00 am – 4:00 pm / 8:00 am – 5:00 pm cst
