position: product engineer – guadalajara, north campus

reporting to the project manager, the product engineer is responsible for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a new product introduction (npi) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

what a typical day looks like:

- support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
- interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
- customer´s bill of material (bom) analysis and structure definition for production.
- participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
- conduct design for manufacturing (dfm), tolerance analysis, design of experiment (doe), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer.
- analyze and determine course of action of product change notification (pcn) and manufacturing change order (mco).





the experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- ba/bs or equivalent work experience.
- experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
- knowledge with implementation engineering changes.
- leadership in npi implementation.
- experience with agile.
- lead the implementation of ecos.
- fluent english.
- knowledge in mrp (baan, flex flow) is also a plus.
- availability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.
