Your Role
As a Controller, you will lead the financial planning, reporting, and control activities of the Centec Juárez operation. You will partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure strong financial performance, effective cost management, compliance with internal controls, and informed business decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational and financial results while supporting key manufacturing initiatives and long-term business objectives.
How You Will Contribute
In your daily job you will:
- Lead monthly financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reporting.
- Drive manufacturing cost analysis and oversee the complete costing process.
- Analyze monthly manufacturing expenses and identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor monthly sales performance and provide financial insights related to revenue trends and business performance.
- Develop, monitor, and report key financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and strengthen financial and operational internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support investment planning and control processes for capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Partner with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvement.
- Coordinate the annual physical inventory process and ensure compliance with financial and operational requirements.
- Provide financial guidance and support across a wide range of plant initiatives and business activities.
- Support strategic planning activities that drive profitability and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance roles.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making through financial analysis and business insights.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Skill Set Requirements
Essential
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
- Experience preparing and analyzing
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Cash Flow Statements
- Cost accounting and manufacturing costing expertise.
- Advanced Excel
- Experience in SAP or Oracle (HFM)
- Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Financial and operational internal controls.
- Manufacturing finance and cost analysis experience.
- KPI development, monitoring, and reporting.
- Advanced analytical and business-partnering capabilities.
Desirable
- Experience supporting capital investment projects (CAPEX).
- Experience leading or mentoring finance teams.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Continuous improvement and process optimization experience.
