Project: LLM Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote from Mexico.

Hours: Full-time (8h/day, Monday–Friday) from 8AM to 5PM CST with 1 hour of break. Overtime is not compensated.

As a LLM Senior Project Manager, you will be the connective tissue between our AI delivery teams, clients, and stakeholders, making sure projects run smoothly, on time, and to a high standard. No technical skills in AI are needed; what matters is your ability to plan, coordinate, communicate, and keep everyone aligned.

This is a contract position with paid time off, Monday to Friday working hours, and a collaborative international team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end delivery of LLM data annotation and language projects — from kickoff to final handover.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing expectations and keeping everyone informed.
- Manage financials, revenue, costs, gross margin.
- Bring more business along with Delivery Director and Sales representative.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestone trackers using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, or equivalent.
- Maintain an efficient management team applying AI and Agentic AI tools to processes.
- Liaise with Solutions team to see automation possibilities to production.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including annotators, linguists, quality reviewers, and vendor managers.
- Track project KPIs (throughput, quality metrics, delivery rates) and produce regular status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify risks and blockers early and take initiative to resolve them or escalate appropriately.
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and client review meetings.




- Onboard new team members onto project workflows, tools, and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, decisions, and lessons learned.
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and scheduling for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Collaborate with QA teams to monitor quality standards and implement improvement actions when needed.

Requirements

Essential

- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, program management or similar.
- Must be worked in People management, Strategic thinking, P&L; management & Business expansion.
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal (C1 or above).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with data: reading dashboards, spreadsheets, and basic performance metrics.

- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or similar).
- Experience working with US based clients.
- Self-starter, independent, process oriented with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and solutions oriented.
- Registered as a self-employed.

Nice to Have

- Prior experience in AI, AI Data, data annotation, NLP, or localization environments.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies.
- PMP, CAPM, or Prince2 certification.
- Experience managing distributed, multilingual teams.
- Experience supporting Sales department or as Sales representative.
- Additional language skills (C1 or above).
