The Role Collaborate with North America and Latin America colleagues across a variety of actuarial and analytical projects:
- Assisting with reserving calculations for life and non-life products • Supporting statistical research and data analysis, including collecting and cleaning data, performing exploratory data analysis.
- Helping identifying trends and patterns under the guidance of senior team members • Contributing to the development of analytics and market strategies through data preparation, and research • Learning about product development and pricing techniques using different software tools • Support life insurance financial modeling, including running actuarial models, updating input data and assumptions, testing models, and reviewing results • Assisting in the preparation of recurrent regulatory reports (Statutory, US GAAP, IFRS and SII) including data preparation, validation,
and documentation The Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Actuarial Science or Mathematics • 1 year of experience working in Insurance Companies or Data Consulting firms (desirable but not requisite) • Strong written and verbal English skills and a demonstrated ability to interact • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Intermediate-level programming skills in tools such as SQL, VBA, R, Python • Well organized, committed to quality, proactive and eager to learn, showing resilience • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and communicate information Equal Opportunity Employer
