What is your role?
As Plant Buyer Warehouse Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and optimization of MRO warehouse operations across multiple manufacturing sites. You will play a key role in ensuring material availability, managing inventory levels, coordinating logistics activities, and working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain continuity of operations.
What will you do?
- Monitor material shortages across plants and coordinate actions to minimize supply risks.
- Identify alternative sources of supply, obtain quotations, and place urgent orders when needed.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Facilities teams to support material management and operational requirements.
- Coordinate inventory balancing activities, interplant transfers, and critical logistics movements.
- Support inventory optimization by reviewing forecasts, min/max levels, new material requests, and material changes.
- Track incoming deliveries, expedite critical orders, and provide visibility of operational risks through regular reporting.
- Follow up on invoice resolution, postings, audits, site access requirements, and system-related cases.
- Analyze inventory performance and generate reports on inventory health, Days of Supply (DOS), and inactive materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse and procurement processes.
What do you need to have?
- Bachelor's degree, preferred in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Materials, Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Import/Export, or Procurement.
- SAP and Excel knowledge.
- Intermediate English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
