Essential Duties and Responsibilities1.
Be a mentor for less experienced staff on how to set up and operate manually the CNC equipment to produce complex parts to specification.2.
Create the appropriate documentation, DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and procedures to engage the staff on quality.3.
Develop and implement processes and teach those processes to others.4.
Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.5.

Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsTrade School degree and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of shop experienceHighly skilled in applicable softwareService attitude, soliciting internal and external customers for feedbackStrong math skillsAbility to accurately measure partsStrong writing, documentation,
and speaking skillsAdvanced leadership skills and ability to mentor othersAbility to lead and organize group projectsBackground check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)Preferred QualificationsBasic shop experiencePhysical RequirementsLift and maneuver 40 poundsPull weight from high/low shelvesReachBendGripTwistSit and/or stand at least 8 hoursFine finger dexteritySEL invents, designs, and builds digital products and systems that protect power grids around the world.
