- Proficiency with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS or comparable managed Kubernetes services.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience building or maintaining delivery pipelines.

- Experience designing cloud-native environments for high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex infrastructure topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with configuration-management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

- Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Checkmk, or equivalent.

- Knowledge of service mesh or advanced networking patterns such as AWS Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, or GCP VPC peering.

- Experience in gaming, media, or another high-throughput or latency-sensitive industry.

- Experience with cloud cost-management tooling or FinOps practices in large AWS environments.
