Job Title:Estimator - Flooring, Cabinets & Countertops Employment:Full-time, remote Schedule:40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, US Central Time Salary:$1,500–$2,500/month (salary based on assessment) Location:LATAMAbout the Company Our client is a specialized flooring, cabinetry, and countertop contractor focused on multifamily residential projects across the US. They are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join their lean team and support bid preparation, takeoffs, pricing, and vendor coordination.About the Role We are looking for an experienced Estimator who can prepare accurate estimates and bids for flooring, cabinetry, and countertop scopes. You'll review plans and specifications, complete quantity takeoffs, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and help ensure bids are accurate and competitive.Key Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, bid documents, and project specificationsPerform quantity takeoffs for flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and related scopesIdentify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential project requirementsPrepare accurate, bid-ready pricing proposalsCalculate material quantities, square footage, and project costsCoordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricingManage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyAssist with change orders and field coordination when neededWork within the client's MeasureSquare CRM and takeoff systemCommunicate directly with the contractor regarding scope, pricing,



and bid requirementsLearn and follow client-specific estimating workflows and processesRequirements 3+ years of professional estimating experienceExperience with construction estimating, takeoffs, and bid preparationExperience with multifamily residential or commercial construction projectsStrong ability to read architectural drawings and technical specificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyFluent English, both written and verbalStrong communication and coordination skillsComfortable managing multiple projects and bids at the same timeAble to work independently in a remote environmentReliable computer and internet setupWillingness to learn and work within the client's software and processesPreferred Experience Candidates with direct experience in any of the following will be strongly preferred: Flooring estimatingCabinetry estimatingCountertop estimatingCommercial interiorsMultifamily residential constructionFinishing tradesVendor and subcontractor coordinationMeasureSquare or similar estimating/takeoff softwareIdeal Candidate The idóneo candidate is a hands-on and detail-oriented estimator who understands construction drawings, can perform accurate takeoffs, and is comfortable working directly with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors. You should be proactive, organized, and able to identify scope gaps or pricing issues before bids are submitted. Experience working remotely with US-based contractors is a strong advantage.
