We are searching for the best talent for Construction Safety Supervisor (Special Shift)-Fixed Term 06 monthsPurpose: Leading safety construction at projects, to a moderate size business location, serving as the Safety contact for construction project at the site; or lead construction safety, at a large, complex location or multiple locations.




This may include providing management support to EES sites assisting conformation to J&J; Worldwide EHS Standards as related to Federal, State and Local regulations.
Under general supervision, provide leadership to site project and management for the establishment and maintenance of robust processes to identify, evaluate and control safety construction risks in the workplaceResponsibilities may include, but are not limited toMake General Construction Safety Plan project-specificEnsures that Contractors are implementing J&J; and Contractors Construction Safety PlanMonitors leading and lagging indicators and expedite themAssures the Contractors safety performanceMonitors and agrees corrective actions with ContractorsEnsure that corrective action is taken, where appropriateIdentify and implements safety initiatives.Discuss project impacts with Project Manager and Safety DRICooperate with the project teamParticipate in joint safety walk-downsUnderstand the General Construction Safety PlanLiaise with Safety DRI during the worksBilingual 80%Enforce EHS&S; laws and regulationsCommunicates and reports performance against EHS&S; goalsFollow all company EHS&S; policies and other related precautions within the work areaSupports PTW system on the execution site / areaOther responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned depending on job assignmentsConduct Contractors Safety trainingFollow J&J; and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third-party vendor if applicable.Follow and implement corporate requirements across the project.The Safety Construction Supervisor will be the direct responsible individual for construction safety.Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelResponsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.For those who supervise or manage a staff,



responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicableResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures Performs other duties assigned as neededQualifications / RequirementsMinimum required University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent and related work experience at Construction projects / construction Safety.
4 to 6 years of experience.
