The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Hematology serves as a field-based scientific expert responsible for establishing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with hematologists, key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and other healthcare stakeholders.
The MSL provides balanced scientific exchange, generates actionable medical insights, supports evidence generation activities,
and contributes to the execution of the medical affairs strategy in hematologic malignancies.
Scientific Engagement
Develop and maintain scientific relationships with leading hematologists and key stakeholders across the assigned territory.
Conduct high-quality peer-to-peer scientific discussions regarding disease state, treatment landscape, clinical data, and evolving standards of care.
Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
Deliver scientific presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
Medical Doctor (MD) degree preferred
Completion of a Hematology residency/fellowship preferred
Deep therapeutic area scientific knowledge and skills to interpret scientific data
Tech-saavy o proficient/willingness to use technological tools in their daily work
Work experience, scientific acumen and communication skills to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer-to-peer relationship
2-4 years work experience industry related and demonstration of additional, deeper MSL skills and competencies*
Communication and presentation skills
Ability and willingness to use technology tools for daily work
Proficient in English
Business acumen
Teamwork, leadership and influencing skills – able to work effectively in a matrix
Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values
