# Remote Senior Data Analyst

## About the Role

Tremendous is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Analyst to partner with internal stakeholders and help build the foundations that make AI-powered data access reliable. You will support multiple business areas, including Product, Finance, and Customer Success, while contributing significantly to the company's semantic layer and data model.

You will be an integral member of the data team, using analytics to generate business insights, improve data-informed decision-making, and help establish trusted, reliable data models. The role is well suited to an experienced analyst who combines strong technical data skills with business judgment, communication, and the ability to work effectively with AI tools.

## Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to trusted, reliable data models and semantic layer coverage that improve the accuracy of AI-generated analyses.
- Apply analytics methods to generate insights into critical areas of the business.
- Consolidate diverse facts and findings into compelling narratives that can be applied across Tremendous.
- Partner with key stakeholders and senior leaders to advocate for data-informed decisions.
- Identify and implement improvements within the Data team.
- Standardize data processes and develop innovative practices.
- Foster new expertise within the Data team.
- Contribute actively to collaboration and team culture as the data team grows.
- Advance projects through rapid, incremental development while addressing short-term obstacles.
- Conduct exploratory analysis using a structured approach while balancing thoroughness with an MVP mindset.

## Required Qualifications




- Experience working as a data analyst.
- Sophisticated SQL skills, with a preference for well-architected data models, optimized query performance, and documented code.
- Proficiency with at least one visualization or business intelligence platform, such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Mode.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain why a particular approach should be used and how it will impact the business.
- Comfort working alongside AI tools and critically evaluating AI-generated output.
- Ability to work effectively through ambiguity in exploratory analysis.
- Ability to balance thorough analysis with an MVP mindset.
- Strong judgment and business and product instincts for prioritizing work.
- Ability to move projects forward through rapid, incremental development.
