Job Requirements SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:- Information Technology.- IT Security, Windows/VM Server Administration, basic networking technologies and protocols.- Middleware such as IIS, Apache/Tomcat, Web Sphere setup and support.- Ability to create operation or automation scripts using languages such as Power Shell, and job schedulers.- Familiar with application validation and deployment, including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Problem solving and troubleshooting. DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE:- SQL Server and DBMS.- Linux environments administration (Redhat).- Container environments and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift) management.- AWS Cloud. But what else? (advantages, specific features, etc.)Acting as a link between the applications team and the infrastructure teams, the Middleware Administrator/Integrator:- Contributes to the delivery, with support of the infrastructure teams, of secured, robust and efficient infrastructure resources by acting as “Sys Ops”" referent for the Devops teams (participation in Devops rituals, coordinating actions related to operations and being the infrastructure representative/focal.- Is responsible for setup,



installation and regular updates of the required middleware and application software code, and their associated configuration, to enable proper execution of desired applications, both for on premise and cloud hosted environments.- Assists application development teams + software and IT architects in defining the required infrastructure and technical layers related to their applicative services to deliver optimum reliability in operations.- Implements and supports automated processes and automation tools for application rollouts and updates.- Implements adequate controls and monitors to ensure application execution reliability and performance objectives are met, and contingency/adjustments measures are taken in case of deviation.- Troubleshoots complex incidents and organizes documentation and knowledge transfer of simpler support cases to dedicated support teams and helpdesk.
