The Occupational Health Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's occupational health programs. This role ensures compliance with applicable health regulations, promotes employee well-being, supports medical surveillance activities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

- Support the development and implementation of occupational health programs, policies and procedures.
- Review and validate pre-screening medical information for new hires.
- Conduct and support workplace health evaluations in accordance with applicable STPS, IMSS and labor regulations.
- Coordinate health promotion, wellness and preventive health campaigns.
- Maintain medical records and occupational health documentation.
- Support medical case management, including occupational injuries, illnesses, medical restrictions and return-to-work programs.
- Manage and follow up on IMSS documentation and occupational health-related legal requirements, including ST forms.
- Monitor occupational health metrics and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support ergonomic assessments and health risk reduction initiatives.
- Provide guidance and follow-up for pregnancy accommodations and employees with medical restrictions.
- Collaborate with EHS, HR and Operations to promote a culture of health and well-being.

What Skills and Experience You'll Need:





- 2–5 years of experience in Occupational Health in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Accredited to serve as the Responsible Health Professional for the operation of the onsite medical department.
- Knowledge of Mexican occupational health regulations, including STPS, IMSS and LFT requirements.
- Understanding of occupational health surveillance, medical case management and health promotion programs.
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage confidential medical information and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education:

- We value skills gained through both education and experience. Applicants may qualify with a bachelor's degree - Medical Doctor (Médico Cirujano) with a specialization in Occupational Health or a related field.
