Job Title: Integration Control-M Orchestration Engineer / Workload Automation Engineer

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Integration Control-M Orchestration Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise data integration and workload automation workflows.

The idóneo candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Control-M Workload Automation, job scheduling, workflow orchestration, scripting, monitoring, and production support. You will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient execution of data integration processes across multiple platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, deploy, and manage Control-M workflows, schedules, jobs, and dependencies to support critical business processes.
- Implement scheduling rules, job dependencies, calendars, alerts, and monitoring mechanisms for enterprise workload automation.
- Monitor production workflows and proactively identify and resolve job failures, scheduling conflicts, and performance issues.
- Troubleshoot Control-M job execution issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
- Collaborate with development, application, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate Control-M with enterprise applications, databases, and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain job execution reports, operational logs, audit trails, and documentation.
- Support and maintain the Control-M infrastructure, including upgrades, patching, configuration, and performance monitoring.
- Develop scripts using Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to automate scheduling and operational activities.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes related to workload automation.
- Ensure workload automation processes comply with organizational security,



governance, and operational standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, workflow reliability, operational efficiency, and overall platform performance.
- Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with geographically distributed cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Control-M in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Control-M Workload Automation Suite.
- Hands-on experience in Control-M job scheduling, workflow design, dependencies, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Experience working with Control-M Server, Control-M Agent, and Enterprise Manager/Web.
- Strong scripting skills in one or more of Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience supporting enterprise batch processing and data integration workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage business-critical production workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with development, operations, and infrastructure teams.

Good to Have
- Experience with DevOps and automation tools such as:
- Jenkins
- Ansible
- Kubernetes
- Experience with Splunk or other monitoring and log analytics platforms.
- Exposure to Apache Airflow or other workflow orchestration technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of REST APIs / Control-M Automation API.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
