Ciudad de México
SARELLY is building a next-generation beauty company from Mexico with integral ambition. Rooted in creativity, community, and high-performance products, the brand is scaling rapidly across Mexico and the United States through direct-to-consumer, ecommerce marketplaces, wholesale, and retail. As the business enters its next stage of growth, Finance must become a daily operating advantage: trusted numbers, strong cash discipline, sharper commercial decisions, and processes that scale.
The Opportunity and the Mission
We are looking for a full-time, Mexico City-based Finance Manager to serve as SARELLY’s hands-on finance operator and business partner to own finance functions day-to-day operations, create one trusted view of the business and ensure financial discipline across the business. This is a builder role for someone who can move comfortably between a 13-week cash forecast, a channel margin discussion, a vendor negotiation, a monthly business review, and the practical work of improving systems, data, and processes.
The Finance Manager will report to SARELLY’s CFO, will work directly with the founders (CEO and COO), the functional leaders and act as a Business Partner to the organization.
What you will ownCash, liquidity, and working capital
- Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast with clear visibility on liquidity, payments, receivables, inventory and purchase-order commitments.
- Run a disciplined payment-planning cadence to anticipate critical obligations and required trade-offs.
- Monitor working-capital drivers, including inventory, landed costs and stock commitments, and support the evaluation and implementation of improvement opportunities.
FP&A;, performance, and reporting
- Build and maintain management P&Ls; by entity, channel and business line, working hands-on with accounting and operational data where necessary.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and scenario planning
- Deliver timely monthly reporting and business reviews with clear insights and actions.
Commercial Finance: Margins, pricing, and full-chain economics
- Build reliable unit economics and profitability views by channel.
- Partner with Commercial and Operations on pricing, margins, promotions, retailer terms and channel economics.
- Evaluate major spend and investment decisions through ROI, payback and scenario analysis.
Daily business partnering
- Work closely with founders and functional teams as a practical day-to-day finance partner.
- Surface risks and opportunities early, challenge assumptions and translate analysis into clear recommendations and actions.
Finance operations, data, systems, and accounting partnership
- Partner with Accounting to ensure teams provide the information required for accounting, tax and compliance and implement related operational requirements.
- Use and reconcile accounting outputs for management reporting, resolving data, classification and allocation issues with Accounting.
- Improve financial data, ERP/BI flows and handoffs between Finance, Accounting and operating teams.
How the role will evolve
As SARELLY grows and the finance organization becomes more mature, a strong performer can progressively assume broader leadership responsibilities and potentially grow into a Finance Director role.
What success looks like
- Clear visibility and understanding of cash situation and perspective
- Clear visibility and understanding of P&L; and cost structures by the organization
- “Every dollar count” culture across the organization
What we are looking for
- 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A;, commercial finance or financial operations, ideally in a hands-on Finance Manager role.
- Experience in consumer, beauty, retail, wholesale or ecommerce; multi-channel and inventory-heavy businesses preferred.
- Strong ownership of cash forecasting, P&Ls;, planning, unit economics and working capital.
- Comfortable operating across US/Mexico or other multi-entity environments; familiarity with accounting, tax, treasury and compliance topics is a plus.
- Highly hands-on, analytical and comfortable working through operational detail directly.
- Strong systems, data and reporting skills.
- Independent judgment, clear communication and confidence challenging assumptions constructively.
- High ownership, low ego and comfort in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Why SARELLY
- Help build the financial foundation of an ambitious beauty company scaling across Mexico and the United States.
- Direct exposure and collaboration with the founders, CFO, and leaders across the business.
- Own highly visible problems where better finance execution can immediately improve growth, resilience, and decision quality.
- Join at a stage where the role can expand meaningfully with the company and where strong performance will shape the future finance organization.
SARELLY is committed to building an inclusive team. We welcome candidates whose experience may not match every line of this description but who bring the judgment, operating intensity, and learning agility required to succeed in the role.
