what you'll be doing

- design, configure, integrate, and support autosar basic software (bsw) communication modules.
- work extensively with autosar communication stack components and communication-related bsw modules.
- xcp (universal measurement and calibration protocol)
- j1939
- support vehicle communication network implementation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- utilize vector davinci tools for autosar configuration, development, and integration.
- develop and execute unit tests using vectorcast .
- support automotive software development activities related to:
- cybersecurity
- functional safety
- collaborate with cross-functional teams on automotive software development and system integration.
- follow aspice software development processes ( swe1-swe6) throughout the software lifecycle.
- execute static code analysis using polyspace/bug finder and resolve cert-c and misra compliance issues.
- contribute to communication architecture, diagnostics, and network integration efforts across vehicle platforms.

what you'll need to be successful

required qualifications

- bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering,



computer science, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-7 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- strong experience with autosar basic software (bsw) .
- hands-on experience with autosar communication stack (com stack) configuration and integration.
- strong understanding of vehicle communication networks and architectures.
- extensive experience with:
- j1939
- uds
- xcp
- experience using vector tools such as:
- strong embedded c/c++ programming skills.
- hands-on experience with:
- can / can fd
- ethernet-based automotive communications
- automotive diagnostics and communication protocols
- experience with software version control systems such as git, clearcase, or integrity.
- strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for communication and integration issues.

preferred qualifications

- experience with functional safety (iso 26262) .
- familiarity with automotive cybersecurity concepts and secure communication practices.
- experience working in an aspice-compliant development environment.
