you're a creative storyteller who knows how to transform simple talking-head videos into scroll-stopping content — fast. You thrive in the world of reels, shorts, and tiktoks, and you know how to make content pop with captions, b-roll, animations, and creative effects. You're plugged into social media trends, love experimenting with new ai tools, and bring both creative instincts and the ability to take direction.

a day in the life

- edit short-form video content (reels, tiktok, shorts, linkedin clips) using ai-powered tools such as descript, opus clip, runway, pika, capcut, and submagic
- add auto-captions, subtitles, and dynamic text overlays for accessibility and engagement
- apply color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency across all content
- clean up and polish audio — noise reduction, level balancing, and syncing
- use transitions purposefully to maintain pacing and viewer engagement
- insert ai-generated or stock b-roll to enhance storytelling
- repurpose long-form content (webinars, interviews)



into multiple short-form clips optimized per platform
- design supplementary graphics and visual assets using canva (photoshop a plus)
- follow brand guidelines consistently across all deliverables
- stay current on trends across instagram, tiktok, and youtube
- collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to align edits with campaign goals
- test and adopt new ai tools to continuously improve speed and output

you must have

- 1–3 years of experience in video editing, content creation, or social media production (agency or fast-paced environment preferred)
- a portfolio demonstrating short-form social media video work (reels, tiktok, shorts, etc.)
- proficiency in ai video editing tools (descript, opus clip, capcut ai, runway, pika, etc.)
- proficiency in canva for graphic design and social media asset creation
- strong understanding of color correction, audio editing, and transition techniques
- sharp sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual engagement for social-first audiences
- knowledge of current short-form video trends and formats across platforms
- excellent attention to detail — captions, audio sync, and brand consistency
- strong communication and collaboration skills

nice to have

- adobe photoshop experience
- adobe after effects experience
