Role
As a Logistics Planning Analyst,
you will work independently with a specialized subset of identified suppliers who pose a greater than normal risk of service loss for the supply chain due to their commodity mix and historical shipping performance. Also work with suppliers to facilitate the execution of planned orders and schedules to fulfill critical customer orders and collaboration which allows independent analysis and related schedule adjustments enabling suppliers to increase velocity on constrained parts.
What You'll Do
- Expedite specific material/schedules from purchase finish suppliers as well as Caterpillar facilities into the distribution network for critical customer requirements
- Identify and collaborate on other prospective schedules causing constraints
- Deliver on key order-to-delivery responsibilities within the mid-level supplier collaboration process
