As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), you will be the key link between Aptiv and our suppliers, ensuring the highest levels of quality, performance, and compliance across automotive electronic components and manufacturing processes. You will drive supplier development initiatives, lead problem-solving activities, support product launches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve world-class quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to reducing defects, improving supplier performance, minimizing production disruptions, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through key metrics, audits, corrective actions,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead supplier development efforts to enhance process capability, product quality, and operational excellence.
- Manage supplier‑related quality issues, including containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
- Drive problem‑solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA processes.
- Support manufacturing operations by resolving supplier‑related concerns and minimizing production impact.
- Ensure supplier compliance with customer, regulatory, and automotive quality requirements, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Program Management, and Customer Quality teams to support business objectives and successful product launches.
