HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Compliance Control: Keep our processes up to date with customs regulations, trade agreements, and licensing requirements. Lead risk assessments, audits,
and implement corrective actions.
- Product Qualification: Manage origin qualification for all products manufactured in Mexicali, ensuring preferential duty rates for imported goods.
- Logistics Contracts: Oversee logistics service contracts, approve deliverables, and manage supplier performance. Participate in bid negotiations and support procurement with reliable supplier development.
- Import Coordination: Ensure timely and compliant imports by leading internal procedures and streamlining collaboration with customs brokers and logistics providers.
- Supplier Reviews: Organize regular meetings with customs brokers and transportation suppliers in Mexico the USA to improve service levels.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in customs and logistics.
- Knowledge of IMMEX, Annex 24, 30, PROSEC, and Rule 8th (Desirable).
