Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. Be a mentor for less experienced staff on how to set up and operate manually the CNC equipment to produce complex parts to specification.
- 2. Create the appropriate documentation, DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and procedures to engage the staff on quality.
- 3. Develop and implement processes and teach those processes to others.
- 4. Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
- 5. Understand. Create. Simplify.
- 6. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Trade School degree and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of shop experience
- Highly skilled in applicable software
- Service attitude, soliciting internal and external customers for feedback
- Strong math skills
- Ability to accurately measure parts
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Advanced leadership skills and ability to mentor others
- Ability to lead and organize group projects
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)

- Basic shop experience
