Overall responsibilities and duties:_
- The role of the PC&L; Continuos Improvement Specialist within a plant is to drive the implementation of Production Control & Logistics (PC&L;) tools and methodologies _
- through teamwork, continuous improvement, and the development of personnel within the framework of the Faurecia Excellence System (FES)and culture Being Faurecia, besides promoting the environmental care culture._
- _The main missions of the role are: _
- _Ensure the accomplishment of requirements for IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 Systems focused to PC&L.; _
- _Ensure plant implementation of PC&L; methods and tools. _
- _Provide plant with PC&L; standards:
Material Information Flow Analysis (MIFA), Milk run, leveling, etc. _
- _Define PC&L; deployment objectives on a semi-annual basis and build up an action plan in cooperation with the Plant Manager and PC&L; Manager. _
- _Set up the means to achieve the action plan and ensure results. _
- _Communicate Improvement initiatives: train and coach plant employees when necessary and carry out progress workshops in accordance with the plant PC&L; manager. _
- _Support management in the implementation of PC&L; tools and provide technical support to other functions. _
- _Propose, in coordination with the FES coordinator, visual management systems in order to improve reactivity in case of problems. _
- _Identify and implement best practices. _
- _Ensure Know-how capitalization and check that standard forms are used. _
