Your Role and Responsibilities
As Software Test Developer focusing on Spectrum Virtualize, you will contribute to the test and support of interoperability between IBM Spectrum Virtualize and other vendors (Windows, Linux, Solaris and VMware) as well as customized configurations. Spectrum Virtualize is deployed in many of the world's largest commercial deployments. You will work closely with Development to ensure critical software and hardware functions are thoroughly tested and validated using both automated and manual testing techniques.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- English proficiency
- Software testing knowledge (concept of defects, debugging and test execution)




- Basic Linux OS, system configuration, and administration (command line)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in small teams with testers and developer
- Strong problem determination and problem resolution skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge about Operating Systems: Linux, Windows (configuration and administration)
- Basic knowledge about Virtualization (VMware)
- Test automation knowledge (Python, JavaScript, Java, or bash)
- Basic networking Knowledge (Ethernet, FC, Switches, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Experience with Agile Software Development and Test.
