Job Summary:
Liquid Food Solutions (LFS) Operations Engineering USA within Tetra Pak® Processing Solutions & Equipment is looking for an innovative Mechanical Designer with a technical competence that allows you to create solutions adapted to different product types and customer needs. LFS develop and manufacture processing solutions for customers within the dairy, beverage, and prepared food industry all over the world. Centers of excellence are in Sweden, USA, China, India and Singapore.
Further you are familiar with all the steps in a customer project, from sales to commissioning and support.




LFS is in the greater Mexico City area and designs and manufactures processing equipment primarily for North America including Mexico.
This position will be based in Cuautitlán, Izcalli, Mexico.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do:
- Be responsible for the mechanical and piping design in customer orders throughout the whole order process.
- Make 3D models in Inventor in compliance with Hygienic standards.
- Extract 2D drawings that will be used during manufacturing.
- Extract pipes and fitting lists that will be used as a BOM (Bill of Material) for purchasing and manufacturing.
- Assist the assemblers in the workshop if any questions arise.
- Communicate with Mechanical Design Owners in Sweden (find information about the latest changes, quick estimate of a layout suggestion for Sales Support, provide feedback to Sweden regarding any suggestions for improvement).
