About the Role The GL Senior accountant will be directly report to the Finance Director PT-Mexico and is responsible to ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in the Central Shared Service Center, Mexican Holding company and US-Lighting ledger.
Responsabilities: Daily administrative activities for the Central shared service Center, as request vendor creation, prepare payment run, and ensure on time payments
Internal control processes and procedures for the Purchase to pay process an communicate to the Central shared service center team
Travel expense control and HR support for fuel and travel cards.
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.




Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Assist SOX compliance plus testing for entire CSS, Holding and US-lighting entities.
Audits and approves employee expense report submissions.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business-related field.
Required Skills Proven experience of 3-5 years as a GL and account payable accountant accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
With experience in Financial planning activities as Forecast, Budget and Reporting.
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). MS Access experience preferred.
System experience with SAP, Mfg Pro, Plex or similar ERP system is preferred.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Internal control procedures, Planning and reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
English intermediate level.
Demonstrates speed and flexibility as appropriate in responding and adapting to changes.
Promotes cooperation within the team and between teams.
Demonstrates the ability to adapt to a challenging and developing environment; willingness to take on new responsibilities as our business evolves.
