Electrical Engineer Superintendent - Offshore
with experience in electrical supervision and maintenance activities within industrial and offshore environments/oil&gas; sector.
The selected candidate will oversee offshore electrical operations, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, safety standards and project objectives.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise offshore electrical activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of the work;
supervise HV, MV and LV electrical works, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards;
coordinate contractors and site personnel during electrical operations and maintenance activities;
review electrical installations, testing and commissioning activities in line with technical specifications and standards;
support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities, providing technical solutions to electrical issues;
ensure compliance with offshore electrical procedures, regulations and industry standards;
interface with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to support project execution and plant reliability;
Participate in technical meetings with clients,
vendors and project stakeholders.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline;
at least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in oil&gas; sector;
previous experience in offshore sector;
knowledge of HV, MV and LV power distribution systems;
experience in electrical commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting activities;
ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and technical documentation;
knowledge of international standards and industry regulations;
excellent knowledge of written and spoken English;
valid offshore certifications (BOSIET, FOET, HUET or equivalent).
