Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Geography and History lessons aligned with the school’s academic program. Create meaningful learning experiences that encourage inquiry, analysis, critical thinking, and active student participation. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to address different learning needs. Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Foster a positive, respectful, and student-centered learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives. Maintain effective communication with students, families, and the academic team.



Participate actively in the academic and community life of Oakland School. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field. Teaching experience at the secondary/middle school level. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to student-centered learning and the holistic development of each student. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a professional learning community. English proficiency appropriate for teaching the subject in English.
