Senior Java Backend Engineer
with strong expertise in
Java, Spring/Spring Boot, scalable API development, database engineering, and SQL performance optimization
.
The idóneo candidate is a hands-on engineer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will design and develop reliable, production-ready backend solutions while working with data-intensive applications and distributed systems.
Experience with
Big Data and Kafka
is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain
scalable backend applications and APIs
using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Apply strong
Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
principles and established
software design patterns

- Design and optimize
relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data-access solutions
.
- Analyze and resolve complex
database and application performance issues
.
- Develop solutions for
data-intensive applications and high-volume workloads
.
- Participate in requirements analysis and validate technical requirements before implementation.
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and production-ready code.
- Develop and maintain
automated tests
as an integral part of the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct and participate in
code reviews
