Your role at Clorox:
As a Senior Accountant within Clorox’s Operational Accounting Team, this role partners with business units and cross-functional teams to provide accounting oversight and support across assigned operational accounting areas, which may include revenue, royalties, cash discount accruals, other accruals, other receivables, inventory, treasury, corporate accounting, and business unit support. The position is involved in various aspects of the monthly and quarterly close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting, analytics, and internal controls. This role provides technical accounting expertise on matters impacting financial reporting and strategic business decisions,



using strong influencing skills to partner effectively across the Finance organization and business teams. The Senior Accountant also drives process improvements by identifying and executing changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness, including leveraging data, technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools, while supporting external reporting requirements, internal and external audit activities, and special projects as required.

In this role, you will:
Operational Accounting Close, Reporting, and Analytics (50%)
- Lead the execution of monthly and quarterly accounting close processes for assigned areas of responsibility, which may include revenue, royalties, cash discount accruals, other accruals, other receivables, inventory, treasury, corporate accounting, and business unit support
