Objective

This position is responsible for leading and optimizing sand core manufacturing operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of cores that meet automotive quality standards while supporting on-time delivery to molding and casting operations.

Main Responsibilities

Lead and ensure compliance with production schedules, capacity balancing, and productivity targets.

Oversee Cold Box and Hot Box manufacturing processes, ensuring operational excellence.

Drive quality performance through compliance with IATF 16949 standards and defect reduction initiatives.

Promote a zero-accident culture and ensure safe handling of chemicals and environmental compliance.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and automation projects.

Develop, coach, and lead production teams to achieve business objectives and strengthen talent capabilities.

Position Requirements

Education: Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials Engineering, or related field.

Experience:



5-8 years in automotive manufacturing and 3-5 years leading sand core production operations.

Technical Skills: Cold Box & Hot Box processes, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE, SMED, SAP, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.

Leadership Skills: Team leadership, talent development, analytical thinking, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Languages: Proficient English required

Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) and experience leading teams of 50-200 employees.
