About the Role
Data is a critical enterprise asset. The Senior Product Owner – Data Trust, Metadata, Catalog & Data Quality is responsible for defining and delivering enterprise capabilities that help GM Financial employees discover, understand, trust, and consume governed data. This role combines the scope of Metadata, Data Catalog and Data Marketplace with Data Quality and Issue Management to create an integrated product capability focused on data trust, reuse, regulatory readiness, and improved decision-making.

The Senior Product Owner partners with Business,



Technology, Privacy, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Data Stewardship teams to define the product vision, roadmap, backlog, adoption strategy, and success measures for enterprise metadata, catalog, glossary, lineage, certification, marketplace, data quality, critical data elements, and issue management capabilities. This role translates business, regulatory, audit, and operational needs into prioritized product outcomes and ensures delivery is aligned to enterprise data governance objectives.
