Quality Engineer, Laboratory
IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Lead, coordinate, and ensure the proper operation of the metrology and testing laboratory, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards, calibration schedules, and applicable regulations.
Develop measurement capabilities for new products, manage technical personnel, and support operations in line with customer requirements and international standards.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the laboratory, including technical and indirect personnel.
- Program and operate measuring equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and KEYENCE vision systems.
- Manage planning and execution of internal and external calibrations and verifications of measuring equipment.
- Ensure metrological traceability and data integrity.
- Develop and validate new test methods and measurement systems for new products.
- Administer relationships and services with external laboratories.
- Implement and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 compliance within laboratory activities.
- Conduct MSA studies according to AIAG guidelines: Linearity, Repeatability and Reproducib
