You're a creative storyteller who knows how to transform simple talking-head videos into scroll-stopping content — fast. You thrive in the world of Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, and you know how to make content pop with captions, b-roll, animations, and creative effects. You're plugged into social media trends, love experimenting with new AI tools, and bring both creative instincts and the ability to take direction.
A Day in the Life
- Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn clips) using AI-powered tools such as Descript, Opus Clip, Runway, Pika, CapCut, and Submagic
- Add auto-captions, subtitles,



and dynamic text overlays for accessibility and engagement
- Apply color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency across all content
- Clean up and polish audio — noise reduction, level balancing, and syncing
- Use transitions purposefully to maintain pacing and viewer engagement
- Insert AI-generated or stock b-roll to enhance storytelling
- Repurpose long-form content (webinars, interviews) into multiple short-form clips optimized per platform
- Design supplementary graphics and visual assets using Canva (Photoshop a plus)
- Follow brand guidelines consistently across all deliverables
- Stay current on trends across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to align edits with campaign goals
- Test and adopt new AI tools to continuously improve speed and output
