Overview
Responsibilities
Lead the overall Lean transformation strategy, process optimization, and continuous improvement culture across the manufacturing plant. Maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), eliminate waste (Muda), and reduce operational costs across critical ceramic processes, including body preparation, pressing/casting, glazing, continuous kiln firing, and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Deployment (Hoshin Kanri): Define and execute the Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with plant goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ceramic Process Optimization: Lead waste‐reduction projects targeting scrap (green/fired breakage, glazing defects, shade/caliber variations) and optimize energy consumption in thermal operations (dryers and kilns).
- Kaizen & Methodologies: Facilitate VSM (Value Stream Mapping), TPM, 5S,
